‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ comes to St. Louis via The Muny for a week-long run from July 23 to 29, 2012.
Theater legends Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice successfully translate Joseph the Dreamer’s story from the Old Testament to the stage, a colorful and wonderful story about Jacob and his twelve sons and the Technicolor coat he gave his eleventh son, Joseph, and how the colorful coat gave him the power to see the future through his dreams while unfortunately causing rift and divide between him and his brothers because of envy, greed and jealousy. ‘American Idol’ finalist and Broadway star Justin Guarini stars in the musical’s St. Louis staging as the titular character.
‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ plays at The Muny at 8:15 PM every night from July 23 to 29.
