Jersey Boys Portland | Keller Auditorium

Jersey Boys Portland | Keller Auditorium

From the rough and jaded streets of New Jersey to the relaxed and more welcoming air of Portland, OR, this Tony Award winning musical about the rise and demise of one of pop music’s biggest acts will serenade its fans in the Northwest with a month-long engagement at the Keller Auditorium. This is the Broadway hit ‘Jersey Boys’, walking like a man in Portland beginning July 18 till August 12, 2012.

They started as blue collar work boys in the Garden State whose lives were almost derailed if it weren’t for their innate musicality and charm. Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons cemented their spots in pop culture and music history as one of the greatest and youngest pop music innovators and chart toppers of the ‘60s. They have struck to super stardom, achieved mainstream music success, battled internal conflicts, and dealt with the perks and perils of fame long before they all reached the age of thirty. Apart from their legacy, the musical also gives audiences an insight on what led to their downfall as a group, plus some interesting and intriguing anecdotes told through their iconic hits such as ‘Walk Like a Man’ and ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’.

Show times for ‘Jersey Boys’ are at 7:30 PM from Tuesdays to Saturdays and 6:30 PM on Sundays. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on Saturdays and 1 PM on Sundays with special matinees on July 19 and August 9 at 2 PM. The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission.
