Spring in Des Moines will surely sizzle with ‘Jersey Boys’, the Tony winning musical chronicling the life and times of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, the ‘60s pop sensation whose innate musical creativity and irresistible charms produced many iconic chart-toppers such as ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’, ‘Walk Like a Man’, ‘Oh What a Night’, ‘Sheree’, ‘Big Girls Don’t cry’ and ‘Rag Doll’. Be captivated with this show’s utmost energy and nostalgic music, a musical which critics predict as one that will “run for centuries” (Time Magazine).

“But with any musical, it’s the singing that upstages any action. The cast lights up the stage and gives our modern audience an experience beyond blotchy black and white television footage and sounds from scratchy records.” – Sophia Ahmad of Des Moines Register

“Jersey Boys” mixes the Italian mafia undertones and “authentic, profane Jersey vocabulary” found in the above shows with the boisterous, vibrant sound of The Four Seasons, one of the biggest bands of the 1960s.” – Laura Pieper of examiner.com
