Jersey Boys Birmingham | BJCC Concert Hall

Coming to Birmingham, AL for the first time is the 2006 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, a musical that Time Magazine predicts to “run for centuries” for according to the New York Post, it is just “too good to be true.” This is ‘Jersey Boys’, the story of ‘60s pop icons Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, set to play the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Center Concert Hall from April 2 to 14, 2013.

Once there were four Jersey boys who worked themselves off in blue-collar jobs, but thanks to a stroke of good luck and overflowing musical talents, and not to mention, dashing good looks that make the crowd go wild, these Jersey boys transformed themselves into a pop quartet that helped define the musical landscape of the ‘60s especially with songs that they themselves penned and composed such as ‘Walk Like a Man’, ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off You’, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ and ‘Sheree’. Five decades later, the success story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is forever immortalized onstage; their struggles and triumphs underscored by their greatest hits makes for a Tony, a Grammy and an Olivier Award-winning blockbuster musical.

‘Jersey Boys’ will play the Birmingham-Jefferson Concert Hall in Alabama at 7:30 PM from Tuesdays to Thursdays, 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 6:30 PM on Sundays. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on Saturdays and 1 PM on Sundays. The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission.
