Actress and singer Idina Menzel is scheduled to perform the song “Let it Go” from Disney’s hit film Frozen during this year’s Oscars. The announcement came from the show’s producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron Tuesday.
Menzel posted on Twitter Tuesday morning confirming the news, “It’s really happening. I’m singing on the Oscars! Surreal. Thank u frozen family and Oscar producers for this incredible opportunity.”

Her solo performance of “Let it Go” warned her standing ovation from the crowd.
