How the Grinch Stole Christmas Detroit | Detroit Opera House

Dr. Seuss’ well-beloved Christmas tale comes to Detroit for a two-week celebration of the most wonderful time of the year. This is the Yuletide theatrical classic ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’, playing at the Detroit Opera House from December 18 to 30, 2012.

For years, the Grinch has been a notorious holiday character for stealing Christmas from the cheerful Who family, the holiday-loving bunch whose hearts for the season are way larger than the rest of us and the Grinch’s, whose heart is “two sizes too small”. Join the Grinch as he discovers the true joys and meaning of the season through the eyes of the Whos and through the tunes of ‘Welcome Christmas’ and ‘You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch’ among other classics. The performance running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.
