Hollow, the new musical inspired by Washington Irving’s classic story of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow that opened in September 22, 2012, is currently on its open run at The Players Theatre in Off Broadway.

In this new musical from Brenda Bell and Michael Sgouros, the Legend of Sleepy Hollow comes alive once again onstage. In Hollow, revisit the Sleepy Hollow in 1790 when a romantic rivalry arises between Brom Van Brunt, the town rowdy, and Ichabod Crane, the village’s skinny schoolteacher. At the heart of their rivalry is Katrina Van Tassel, the daughter of a wealthy farmer. One night, while on his way home, Ichabod comes face to face with the much-feared Headless Horseman and mysteriously disappears. Indeed, dark secrets are lurking and echoes in Sleepy Hollow and whatever happens in the Sleepy Hollow will forever stay in the Hollow.
