It’s rock and roll all the way for San Francisco this fall! Hedwig and The Angry Inch, the multi-awarded rock musical that won four Tony Awards in 2014 including Best Musical Revival, dominates the SHN Golden Gate Theatre for four weeks only. Opening on October 4, 2016, Hedwig and The Angry Inch plays San Francisco until October 30, 2016.

From its acclaimed Off-Broadway debut in 1998, Hedwig and The Angry Inch has went on to conquer West End and the Great White Way and it is now on tour! Hedwig and The Angry Inch tells the wickedly funny yet heartbreaking story of Hedwig Robinson, a song stylist who sets out to set the record straight about her loves and her life. Born as Hansel in East Germany, Hedwig finds her way to the West as a transgender suffering from a botched sex change operation. Directed by Michael Mayer, Hedwig and The Angry Inch features score from Stephen Trask and book from John Cameron Mitchell.

A raunchy fable of loss, freedom, fury, and love, Hedwig and The Angry Inch takes center stage at the Golden Gate Theatre at 8 PM from Tuesday to Saturday and at 2 PM every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. With no intermission, the performance time of Hedwig and The Angry Inch is 100 minutes.
