Kansas City, let the sunshine in and re-live hippie culture of 1960s America with the week-long run of Hair: The American Tribal Love – Rock Musical at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts’ Muriel Kauffman Theatre on February 5 to 10, 2013.

Hair, the first rock musical and the first ever to have a multi-cultural cast, tells the story of a group of young hippies in New York City who searched for truth, love, and peace during the Vietnam War era in America. With profound themes, electrifying choreography, and chart-toppings songs like Aquarius, Easy To Be Hard, Good Morning Sunshine, and Let the Sunshine In, Hair is one of the most successful Broadway revivals in history , being the Best Musical Revival of the 2009 Tony Awards .

The intensely powerful performances of Hair at the Muriel Kauffman Theatre are at 7:30 PM on February 5 to 9 (Tuesday to Saturday) and at 6:30 PM on February 10 (Sunday). The weekend matinees are at 2 PM on February 9 and at 1 PM on February 10.
