The Hennepin Theatre Trust and the Theater Latté Da proudly presents Cabaret, the second production of its Broadway Re-Imagined series, in its much anticipated debut on January 15, 2014 at the Pantages Theatre. Cabaret will run in Minneapolis until February 9, 2014.
Based on the book penned by Christopher Isherwood, Cabaret is set in Berlin in 1931 when the Nazis were rising to power. This is the story of Sally Bowles, a 19-year old British singer in a cabaret called the Kit Kat Klub, and of Cliff Bradshaw, a young American writer. Cabaret will take its Minneapolis audience to the heart of Berlin during the 30s to explore the free-spirited decadence of the city’s nightlife and to discover why life is indeed one big cabaret.
Catch Cabaret’s evening performances at the Pantages Theatre at 7:30 PM on Thursdays and at 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, with 2 PM matinee shows on Saturdays and Sundays.
