Book of Mormon Charlotte | Belk Theater

Book of Mormon Charlotte | Belk Theater

The Mormons will dominate the Belk Theater stage over the holidays for the 2013/14 Duke Energy Broadway Lights Series at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. The Book of Mormon, the outrageously sensational Broadway show from the wacky South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, will have its post-Christmas run in Charlotte from December 26, 2013 to January 5, 2014.

A big winner at the 2011 Tony Awards, The Book of Mormon has been earning rave reviews from critics and breaking blockbuster records since its phenomenal 2011 Broadway premiere. This outrageous satire musical has been heralded as “best musical” of this century and “funniest musical” by The New York Times and Entertainment Weekly, respectively.

The Book of Mormon will only be in Charlotte for 10 days so don’t miss it as it plays at the Belk Theater on weeknights at 7:30 PM from Tuesday to Thursday and at 8 PM every Thursday, with special weekday matinees at 2 PM on December 27 (Friday) and January 1 (Wednesday). The regular weekend performances are at 2 PM and 8 PM every Saturday and at 1:30 PM and 7 PM every Sunday.
