The world’s favorite orphan and the embodiment of everything hopeful, ‘Annie’, comes to the Sarofim Hall at The Hobby Center in Houston, TX for a two-week engagement in spring 2012.

This classic musical spawned the Broadway standards ‘It’s the Hard-Knock Life’ and the ever popular ‘Tomorrow’. A perfect blend of heartwarming drama sprinkled with a dash of comedy, ‘Annie’ has been staged all over the world after being housed in Broadway for almost six years. This Tony Award winning musical boasts of a book written by Thomas Meehan, which he adapted from the Little Orphan Annie comic strip illustrated and created by Harold Gray. It also features scores from Charles Strouse and lyrics from Martin Charnin.

This newly revived production of ‘Annie’ retains its original story, a story of hope and dreams, one that is seen through a little orphan girl’s eyes. Come to the Sarofim Hall in Houston from March 20 to April 1, 2012 and remember how it is to be hopeful and optimistic with ‘Annie’.
