Like many great, young, musical artists, Janis Joplin’s career rose to meteoric heights, inspired a generation of music lovers, and was tragically cut short. A Night With Janis Joplin celebrates her life through a new musical that follows her career from the clubs of Monterey to a headliner at Woodstock. Jam along to Janis’ best loved tracks and sing with other great female artists who influenced her like Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, Etta James, and Bessie Smith.
Spend A Night with Janis Joplin at the Knight Theatre of Blumenthal Performing Arts in Charlotte. Janis’ unmistakable croon will fill up the stage on December 2 through 7, 2014. Showtimes are at 7:30pm on Tuesday through Thursday; at 8:00pm on Friday and Saturday; and 7:00pm on Sunday. Afternoon shows are at 2:00pm on Saturday and 1:30pm on Sunday.
