The quest for the Earldom of Highhurst is on! A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder, the smash hit and acclaimed Broadway musical that won as Best Musical in the 2014 Tony Awards, is all set to delight its Los Angeles audience this spring. Opening on March 22, 2016, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder plays the Ahmanson Theatre until May 1, 2016.
A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder charts Monty Navarro’s rise from rags to riches. Living in poverty all his life, Monty finds out that he is in the Earldom of Highhurst’s line of succession. Wealth and social power are in sight but not within immediate reach as eight D’Ysquith relatives stand between him and the family fortune. Then, those in the line of succession before Monty start to die one by one. Adding to this web of deceit and murder is the complication posed by love rivals, Phoebe and Sibella, to Monty’s heart. A hilarious and irreverent new musical, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder earned 10 Tony Nominations and won the Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Musical.
Don’t miss A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder as it takes center stage at the Ahmanson Theatre at 8 PM from Tuesdays through Fridays, at 2 PM and 8 PM on Saturdays, and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on Sundays.
