Wicked, the Untold Story of the Witches of Oz, takes over the Great Hall of the Stranahan Theatre in Toledo from August 13 to September 1st, 2013. You may think you know the story of Oz, but what really happened before that little girl from Kansas fell from the skies?
Elphaba is a governor’s daughter who just wants to find her place in the world has a peculiar condition of being, well, completely green. And Glinda, the most popular girl at school who always gets what she wants becomes unlikely room mates with the green girl whom she simply loathes from the beginning. But their rivalry soon blossoms into a friendship that blurs the line between good and bad and defies all odds. Find out what really happened in the Land of Oz before Dorothy walked down that yellow brick road.
Wicked runs from August 13 to September 1, 2013 at the Stranahan Theatre Great Hall with evening performances at 8:00pm except on August 18, 25, and September 1 when the show starts at 7:30pm. Matinee performances are at 2:00pm on August 17, 18, 24, 25, 31, and September 1.
