‘An Evening with Patti LuPone, Mandy Patinkin’ Set to Tour in 2014

Broadway legends Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin have announced via their official website that they will continue to tour with their two-person show entitled, An Evening wit Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin in 2014. The show originally closed on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in January 2012.

The Tony Award winning pair of costars and friends will be reunited for a once-in-a-lifetime performance for the first time since Evita. The performance will be a musical love story that is told via a carefully and masterfully chosen selection of the greatest songs ever written for the stage. It will embody comedy, passion, and intimacy in an artistic manner that will prove to be unforgettable for those who get to experience it in person. For any person that considers themselves a fan of the theatre, this is a musical performance that should not be missed.

The show is scheduled to make several stops over the course of 4 months in the U.S. in 2014. February 18 – 23, 2014 the show will be at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. March 1, 2014 the show will play at the NJ PAC in Newark , NJ. April 26, 2014 the show will be at the Bing Concert Hall at Stanford University in Alto, CA. May 6 – 8, 2014 the duo will perform at the Mulroy Civic Center’s Crouse Hinds Theatre in Syracuse, NY. Finally, May 9 – 11, 2014 the pair will be at the Scranton Cultural Center in Scranton, PA.
