West Side Story, the award-winning play by Arthur Laurents, is set to enthrall its Scranton audience on November 2 to 4, 2012 at the Scranton Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple.
The unforgettable love story of Tony and Maria, which debuted in 1957, continues to captivate its audience over the last five decades. With a 1961 film adaptation and a number of Broadway revivals, the latest West Side Story production is currently touring major US cities for its 2012-2013 Season. This Broadway production kept true to the original soundtrack and impressive dance choreography while including some songs and lines in Spanish. Indeed, West Side Story is sure to fill the longings of the audience’s eyes, heart, and soul.
The first West Side Story performance at the Scranton Cultural Center is at 8 PM on November 2, 2012. The weekend presentations are at 2 PM and 8 PM on November 3, 2012 and at 1 PM and 6 PM on November 4, 2012.
