West Side Story Sherwood Park| Festival Place

Revisit New York City’s blue-collar Upper West Side in the 1950s and follow the unforgettable love story of Tony and Maria as West Side Story comes to town for Broadway in Sherwood Park. The Toronto suburb hosts a two-week engagement of West Side Story this holiday season at the Festival Place from December 18 to 30, 2014.

West Side Story, the acclaimed and well-loved, critically-acclaimed musical that marked Sondheim’s Broadway debut, is inspired by the timeless Romeo and Juliet classic born from William Shakespeare. It tells the touching story of two lovers who try to overcome the trials, conflict, and difficulties before them. West Side Story remains as powerfully moving and socially relevant as ever even after 50 years since changing the face of American musical theater.

Don’t miss the intensely captivating West Side Story shows at the Festival Place at Sherwood Park at 7:30 PM on performance Thursday to Tuesday with 2:00 PM performances on Saturday and Sunday.
