War Horse Richmond | Landmark Theatre
This fall, a valiant troop of WWI war horses will make its way to the Landmark Theater to open the blockbuster 2013-2014 season of Broadway in Richmond. Giving life to an unforgettable and poignant tale of loyalty, valor, and friendship on stage, War Horse will run in Richmond from October 29, 2013 to November 3, 2013.
In an English countryside in 1914, a young lad (Albert) becomes separated from his beloved friend and horse (Joey) when it was bought by the English cavalry and dispatched to France. Serving as a war horse in the French battlefields, Joey experiences the untold horrors of war. Back in England, young Albert prepares to embark on the difficult and dangerous mission to Europe to bring his horse home.
Behold the Handspring Puppet Company’s amazing puppet horses come to life as War Horse plays at the Landmark Theater on October 29 to November 3 (Tuesday to Sunday). War Horse runs for 160 minutes with one intermission.
