The New Year opens with a bang at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts! War Horse, the sensational Broadway production adapted from Michael Morpurgo’s well-loved book, opens at The Bushnell Center’s Mortensen Hall on January 28, 2014 and runs in Hartford until February 2, 2014 as part of the 2013-2014 Bushnell Broadway Series.

War Horse is the powerful and unforgettable tale of a lad and his horse separated by war. Albert’s dearly loved horse, Joey, was bought by the British cavalry and sent to the battlefront in France. As Joey faces the horrors and challenges of being a war horse, Albert embarks on a perilous journey to find and bring his beloved horse back to the farm. War Horse comes alive on stage with the Handspring Puppet Company’s magnificent horse puppets.

Behold an extraordinary tale of courage and loyalty as War Horse runs in Hartford on January 28 to February 2. The running time of War Horse is 2 hours and 45 minutes, with a 15-minute intermission.
