The Bridges of Madison County, the acclaimed and sensational new musical from the Great White Way based on Robert James Waller’s poignant best-selling novel, is part of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ blockbuster 2015-2016 season. Opening on June 28, 2016, The Bridges of Madison County has a three-week engagement at the Eisenhower Theater until July 17, 2016.

A Tony Award winning musical, The Bridges of Madison County tells the story of Francesca Johnson, a housewife stuck in their Iowa farm, and her four-day whirlwind romance with Robert Kincaid, a traveling photographer of the National Geographic. Widely hailed as one of the most romantic tales ever written, The Bridges of Madison County chronicles their chance encounter and brief romantic affair that leave profound effects on both their lives. The Bridges of Madison County features its Tony Award winning Best Original Score and Best Orchestration by Jason Robert Brown.

Don’t miss the irresistible The Bridges of Madison County shows at the Eisenhower Theater on on Tuesday to Sunday evenings at 7:30 PM. The weekend matinees are at 1:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. With one intermission, The Bridges of Madison County plays for 2 hours and 35 minutes.
