Pippin Chicago | Cadillac Palace Theatre

Pippin Chicago | Cadillac Palace Theatre

A magical and high-flying treat awaits Chicago theatergoers this summer! Pippin, the 2013 Tony Awards’ Best Musical revival winner, takes over the Cadillac Palace Theatre for two weeks only. Opening on July 29, 2015, Pippin plays Chicago until August 9, 2015.

Pippin chronicles a young prince’s journey for self-discovery and to have an extraordinary life. In his journey, Pippin must decide what matters most and determine the life path to take. Will he choose to lead a simple yet happy life or will he risk everything he has for a single blaze of glory? Pippin‘s unforgettable story is told by a mysterious performance troupe’s Leading Player. A jaw-dropping musical extravaganza with soaring songs and mind-blowing magical feats, Pippin brims over with amazing acrobatics choreography by Les 7 Doigts de la Main. Pippin also features book by Roger Hirson and score by Stephen Schwartz that include songs like “Magic To Do,” “Extraordinary,” and “Corner of the Sky.” Directed by Diane Paulus, this spectacular production won four Tony Awards in 2013.

Don’t miss the death-defying and astounding Pippin as it opens at the Cadillac Palace Theatre on July 29 (Wednesday) at 7:30 PM. The regular performances are at 7:30 PM from Tuesday to Friday and at 2 PM and 7:30 every Saturday and Sunday. A special Thursday matinee will be at 2 PM on July 30. The run time of Pippin is 155 minutes with an intermission
