Newsies Cleveland | PlayhouseSquare

The newsboys of New York are coming to Cleveland this fall for the 2014/15 Keybank Broadway Series! Newsies, the record-breaking Disney musical inspired by the 1899 Newsboy Strike in New York City, has a two-week engagement at the PlayhouseSquare’s Palace Theatre on November 4 to 16, 2014.

Set during the turn of the century in New York City, Newsies is the inspiring story of Jack Kelly and a ragged band of newspaper delivery boys who bravely took a stand and fought for what was right. A lively production that explodes onstage with its jaw-dropping choreography and catchy songs by Alan Menken, Newsies is the sensational show that theatergoers of all ages will surely enjoy.

Catch Newsies as it takes center stage at the Palace Theatre from Tuesday to Friday at 7:30 PM, every Saturday at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM, and every Sunday at 1:00 PM and 6:30 PM. Each Newsies performance runs for 2 hours and 20 minutes.
