For a limited time only, the amazing true story that inspired the Disney feature film and morphed into the Broadway sensation is coming to Atlanta. The Fabulous Fox Theatre is proud to host Newsies in January 2015.
Hot off the presses — Newsies is a certified Broadway hit! Newsies deliver the daily paper with a song and a dance in this multi Tony Award winning musical. But when they decide to stand up for themselves to demand better wages, they become themselves making headlines! Drawn from true life events of the small fry going toe to toe with the big shots of New York, Newsies is an inspiring tale that reminds you to fight for what is right.
Don’t miss your chance to see Newsies with the whole family at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta. The paperboys take on a short run from January 20 – 25, 2015. Performances will run at 7:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; at 8:00pm on Friday and Saturday; and at 6:30pm on Sunday. Afternoon shows are scheduled at 2:00pm on Saturday, and at 1:00pm on Sunday. Newsies runs two and a half hours with a fifteen minute intermission.
