Kinky Boots New Orleans | Saenger Theatre

A dazzling parade of glitzy shoes hits the road to New Orleans this February! Kinky Boots, the sensational and award winning musical that has been delighting the theatergoers on the Great White Way, is on its widely anticipated National Tour and joins Broadway New Orleans’ blockbuster 2015-2016 season. Opening on February 16, 2016, Kinky Boots has a limited eight-performance engagement at the Saenger Theatre until February 21, 2016.

Featuring the Tony winning score by celebrated pop icon Cyndi Lauper, Kinky Boots breathes life to the inspiring tale of fledgling businessman who discovers that the best way to ever fit in is to really stand out. Based on real life characters and events, Kinky Boots takes its New Orleans audience from a Northampton gentleman’s shoe factory to Milan’s glamorous catwalks as Charlie Price turns their family business around with the help of a fabulous drag artist named Lola. Kinky Boots took home six Tonys in 2013 including Best Score, Best Choreography, and Best Musical.

Slip on your best shoes as Kinky Boots takes over the Saenger Theatre stage at 7:30 Pm on February 16 to 18 (Tuesday to Thursday), at 8 PM on February 19 (Friday), at 2 PM and 8 PM on February 20 (Saturday), and at 2 PM and 7:30 PM on February 21 (Sunday). With one intermission, the playing time of Kinky Boots is 140 minutes.
