Kinky Boots Baltimore | The Hippodrome Theatre

Glitzy high heeled shoes in all sizes, colors, and shapes parade to Baltimore this fall! Kinky Boots, the 2013 Tony Awards’ Best Musical winner, is on its widely anticipated National Tour and is all set to open the stellar 2015-16 season of Hippodrome Broadway Series! Opening on September 29, 2015, Kinky Boots takes over The Hippodrome Theatre stage for eight performances only until October 4, 2015.

Winner of the Tony Awards for Best Score, Best Choreography, and Best Musical, Kinky Boots is inspired by true to life events and follows the inspiring story of a young straitlaced businessman named Charlie Price. As he tries to live up to the expectations of his father, Charlie struggles to continue the family business of making gentleman’s shoes. With the company heading downhill, Charlie finds help in the form of Lola, a glamorous drag artist looking for some sturdy stilettos. Directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell, Kinky Boots features Cyndi Lauper’s award winning score and Harvey Fierstein’s wonderful book.

Don’t miss the fabulous Kinky Boots performances at The Hippodrome Theatre at 8 PM on September 29 to October 2 (Tuesday to Friday), at 2 PM and 8 PM on October 3 (Saturday), and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on October 4 (Sunday). With an intermission for 15 minutes, Kinky Boots plays for 2 hours and 20 minutes.
