“The latest touring production, at Orlando’s Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre, doesn’t go wrong. It’s well sung, the jokes land with practiced finesse and even the Carr’s notoriously poor acoustics can’t put a damper on the trip down musical memory lane.” – Matthew J. Palm of Orlando Sentinel

“The play isn’t perfect — the French hip-hop prologue has dated badly, and the act break is still awkward — but it’s as close as you’ll find in this age of cash-grab jukebox musicals and movie remakes.” – Seth Kubersky of Orlando Weekly

“Well I didn’t just enjoy the play I absolutely loved it. I found myself moving my feet along with music and singing under my breath (sometimes louder)…and I wasn’t the only one.” – Mike Gencarelli of Media Mikes
