The Shubert Organization and the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts proudly presents I Love Lucy as one of the Exclusive Extras of Broadway Philadelphia’s 13/14 Season. A post-Christmas offering, I Love Lucy has an eight-performance engagement at the Merriam Theater until December 29, 2013.
In I Love Lucy, be entertained by the hilarious antics of Lucy, Ethel, Ricky, and Fred as two episodes of the beloved I Love Lucy series are taped in the studio of the Desilu Playhouse. It’s 1952 and Philadelphia is sure to catch the infectious 50s-style harmonies as the Crystaltone Singers sing the jingles of I Love Lucy sponsors.
Get to know the world’s beloved crazy redhead as I Love Lucy plays at the Merriam Theater on December 26 to 27 (Thursday to Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM and on December 29 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. I Love Lucy runs for 100 minutes with no intermission.
