Evita Tampa | Straz Center for the Performing Arts

Evita, the phenomenal and award-winning musical from Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Weber about Eva Peron, takes its Tampa audience back in time to Argentina during its week-long run at the Carol Morsani Hall of the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts on March 18 to 23, 2014.

Eva Peron, former first lady of Argentina and one of the most powerful and famous women in history, used her beauty, charisma, and smarts to rise from the slums to the Casa Rosada. Eva’s unforgettable and passionate story is brought to life on stage with some of the most memorable and beautiful songs in theater like Another Suitcase in Another Hall, You Must Love Me, High Flying Adored, and Don’t Cry for Me Argentina.

Catch this stunning production of Evita at the Straz Center nightly at 7:30 PM on March 18 to 20 (Tuesday to Thursday), at 8 PM on March 21 to 22 (Friday and Saturday), and at 7 PM on March 23 (Sunday). The weekend matinee shows are at 2 PM on March 22 and at 1:30 PM on March 23.
