The ambitious and beautiful Eva Peron makes her way to San Diego this fall. Evita, the acclaimed and phenomenal Broadway musical about the extraordinary life of Eva Peron, opens at the San Diego Civic Center on November 12, 2013 and runs until November 17.
From the award-winning creative team of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, Evita takes its San Diego audience to Argentina to witness the meteoric rise of Eva from the slums to becoming one of the most powerful Latin American women in the history of the world. Evita tells the unforgettable story of Eva Duarte Peron through some of the most memorable songs in American theater like “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Buenos Aires,” “High Flying Adored,” and “Another Suitcase In Another Hall.”
Evita plays the San Diego Civic Center nightly at 7 PM on November 12 and 13 (Tuesday and Wednesday), at 7:30 PM on November 14 (Thursday), at 8 PM on November 15 and 16 (Friday and Saturday), and at 6:30 PM on November 17 (Sunday), with 2 PM matinee performance on November 16 and 1 PM show on November 17.
