The sensational 2013/14 Broadway Philadelphia of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts brings Eva Duarte Peron to Philly! Opening on June 17, 2014, Evita runs for a week at the Academy of Music until June 22, 2014.

Evita is the exciting new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Time Rice’s critically acclaimed musical staged more than 30 years after its highly successful Broadway premiere in 1979. Retelling an unforgettable woman’s extraordinary story, Evita follows Eva Duarte from the Argentine slums to her dramatic rise to social and political power as First Lady of post-World War II Argentina. Eva’s unforgettable life story is told through beautiful songs and impressive choreography.

Don’t miss this new and powerful production of Evita as it plays at the Academy of Music on June 17 to 19 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on June 20 (Friday) at 8 PM, on June 21 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on June 22 (Friday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM.
