Cabaret Pittsburgh | Benedum Center
Experience the excitement of cabaret life this February! Cabaret, the hit and Tony Award winning production of an acclaimed theater masterpiece, joins PNC Broadway Across America – Pittsburgh’s stellar 2015-2016 season. Opening on February 2, 2016, Cabaret has a limited engagement at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts for eight performances only until February 7, 2016.
From Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall, this stunning production of Cabaret is part of the Roundabout Theatre Company’s 50th Anniversary Season. Set during the late 1930s during the Nazi Party’s rise to power in Germany, Cabaret takes its Pittsburgh audience to savor and experience the decadent Berlin nightlife. In Cabaret, follow the unforgettable tale of a young American writer in Berlin who falls in love with a performer at the city’s infamous Kit Kat Klub. Is the exciting illusion of life at the cabaret enough to take them through the trials they face and the dangerous times unfolding outside?
Leave the troubles of the world behind as Cabaret takes center stage at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 PM on February 2 to 4 (Tuesday to Thursday), at 8 PM on February 5 (Friday), at 2 PM and 8 PM on February 6 (Saturday), and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on February 7 (Sunday). With an intermission, Cabaret plays for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
