Cabaret Los Angeles | Pantages Theater

Los Angeles, welcome the showgirls all the way from Berlin! Cabaret, the captivating production of the beloved and Tony Award winning musical classic, heats up the Los Angeles summer. Opening on July 19, 2016, Cabaret takes over the Pantages Theatre Hollywood for three weeks until August 7, 2016.

On its new North American tour, Cabaret breathes new life to the story of Cliff and Sally set in Berlin during the rise to power of Hitler’s Nazi Party. An aspiring writer from America, Cliff makes his way to Berlin in search for inspiration. As soon as he gets off the train, he meets Sally Bowles, an alluring performer at the Kit Kat Klub, a seedy and gaudy nightclub that embodies the decadent Berlin nightlife. But despite the allure of cabaret life, the music inside is not that loud enough to obscure fascism’s growing voice. With Fred Ebb and John Kander’s delightful musical score, Cabaret features book by Joe Masteroff and direction by Sam Mendes.

Come hear the music as Cabaret plays the Pantages Theatre Hollywood at 8 PM on weeknights from Tuesdays through Fridays. The regular weekend performances on Saturdays are at 2 PM and 8 PM and on Sundays at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. The run time of Cabaret is 2 hours and 30 minutes including one interval.
