Broadway Across Canada proudly presents one of Broadway’s biggest hits to close its blockbuster 2015-2016 season! Book of Mormon, the widely acclaimed and high-grossing musical from the celebrated creators of Avenue Q and South Park, has a limited engagement at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium on September 13 to 18, 2016.
On an evangelical mission in Uganda’s northern regions, a duo of Mormon missionaries try to convert the locals who are more concerned about violence, hunger, poverty, despotism, and AIDS. A hilarious religious satire, The Book of Mormon won the Tony Award for Best Musical and has been breaking box office records since its phenomenal Broadway premiere.
