Book of Mormon Birmingham | BJCC Concert Hall

Book of Mormon Birmingham | BJCC Concert Hall

Guess who are hitting the road to Birmingham! The funny Mormons are! The exciting Broadway in Birmingham 2014-15 season proudly presents Book of Mormon, one of the most acclaimed and biggest hits from the Great White Way. Opening on February 17, 2015, Book of Mormon will be at the BJCC Concert Hall for eight performances only until February 22, 2015.

Hailed as the best musical by The New York Times for this century, Book of Mormons is the nine-time Tony winning production that follows two young and novice Mormon missionaries as they make their way from Salt Lake City to a far-flung Ugandan village for their first evangelical mission. With only half the pair understanding the Mormon scriptures, they try to convert the locals gripped with terror by a local warlord and who are more concerned with poverty and hunger than with their eternal salvation. Book of Mormon, heralded by Entertainment Weekly as the all-time “funniest musical,” won the Tony for Best Musical in 2011.

Join the Mormons’ unforgettably uproarious adventures as Book of Mormon plays the BJCC Concert Hall on February 17 to 19 (Tuesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on February 20 (Friday) at 8 PM, on February 21 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on February 22 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. The run time of Book of Mormon is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
