Beauty and the Beast Austin | Bass Concert Hall

Beauty and the Beast Austin | Bass Concert Hall

Disney invites you to be their guest in Austin, Texas as this enchanting tale that is as old as time will capture your hearts with warmth, love and fascination. This is the Broadway hit musical Beauty and the Beast, coming to Austin’s Texas Performing Arts this October.

It’s the classic love spell tale we have loved for so many years. There was once a temperamental, arrogant and ill-mannered prince, who was transformed into a hideous beast after his brief encounter with an enchantress who posed as a beggar. Until he learns to be humble, mannered and to love unconditionally while having his love returned before the last petal of the rose left by the enchantress withers, he and his entire household will remain as the freaky creatures haunting his very own castle and his town, ensuing chaos among the townspeople who eagerly hunt them down in fear.

The dazzling and lavish production numbers of Beauty and the Beast, filled with fascinating set designs, unforgettable magical characters and hummable tunes first made popular by the original Academy Award winning animated film, will glue you to your seats as your senses engage in the spectacular festivity of vibrant visuals, heartwarming songs and an enchanting story that ties the loose ends of magic, love, acceptance and happiness.

Catch Beauty and the Beast at the Bass Concert Hall of the Texas Performing Arts from October 7 to 12, 2014. Show times are at 8 PM from Wednesday to Saturday, and at 7 PM on Sunday. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on Saturday and 1 PM on Sunday. The performance running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission.
