After Midnight New York | Brooks Atkinson Theatre

Welcome to The Cotton Club and escape into a world where music and dance come straight from the soul, issuing you a first class ticket back to the grand Golden Age of Harlem. Star studded performers top the bill in a rotating bill. These stars birth the revival of the Harlem Renaissance in After Midnight at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre.

Lead by a single street lamp, you will be drawn into a world of big bands and big voices. Music moves and drives the show as a live band takes up most of the stage and dance numbers lead you into the next scene seamlessly. After Midnight showcases the work of two of Harlem’s Golden Age pioneers, Duke Ellington and Langston Hughes. Everyone gets a front row seat into the magic of jazz and passionate music that thrived during the Harlem Renaissance.

Catch After Midnight at the Brooke Atkinson Theatre beginning November 13, 2013. The production plays in a series of limited engagements, with notable musical stars taking on the lead roles. Fantasia Barrino, KD Lang, Toni Braxton, and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, are just some of the stars scheduled to share their voices and talents to this critically acclaimed production.
